What I do.
Effective communication is about engaging, inspiring and genuinely connecting with your target audience. A sense of loyalty and trust arise only when people feel that authentic connection.
Leaders need to develop an ability to deliver information that is meaningful; encouraging people to THINK, FEEL, and ACT a certain way. When communication is lacking, important information can be misinterpreted, ultimately, creating unnecessary challenges, a lack of trust and barriers.
The psychology of communication; language, articulation, tone and body language all contribute to the success of being an effective communicator.
Sometimes, incredibly sensitive information needs to be shared within an organisation, and during these times, humanising communication and putting people front and centre of this will ensure clarity, transparency and, ultimately, empathy.
